We went to the Maize last week with our new-but-awesome friends Kirsten and Scott.
The maze wasn't a 100% toddler-approved activity, but Charlie was patient.
Kirsten and Scott grabbed a few quizzes. As we progressed through the maze, we hit numbered plaques that corresponded to questions on a quiz. If we answered a question correctly, we got instructions to proceed through the maze. Wrong answers gave wrong directions.
Somehow this happened:
Charlie always rides so well for Mike.
But when he rides on my shoulders, Charlie always tries to make eye contact. You can imagine how well that goes.
A boy at the little kid hay bale maze was really cute with Charlie. Charlie is obsessed with "big kids."
Picking out a Charlie-size pumpkin:
Then the splits happened.
Charlie was fascinated by the animals at the farm. The piglets were incredibly cute. I want a few. And five acres of land for them, because they stink, and the flies were outrageous.
It's finally feeling like fall around these parts. It still gets into the 70s, but most days have a slight crisp autumn feel. I love this time of year.
